Ride the highlights of the first stage of the 2014 Tour de France
• Four nights accommodation in Wensleydale at our award-winning guest house
• Three days of spectacular cycling, varied routes and breathtaking scenery
• Non-cycling 'other halves' welcome
Following the success of this Cycling Break last year, we are delighted to announce that we are offering it again this Spring. Spend four nights in the pretty market town of Leyburn, from where we will explore the Dales on three varied day rides. The routes covered will include the highlights of the first stage of last year’s Tour de France, as well as some of the renowned climbs in the area. Each route has been planned meticulously to ensure that you get the most out of each day, riding on the quietest and most scenic roads. You will be accompanied by an experienced member of the Collett’s team. You will be part of a small group of like minded people who share a passion for cycling and the British countryside.
Non-cycling 'Other Halves' - Eastfield Lodge is ideally situated for walkers of all abilities. It is also close to numerous places of interest such as Aysgarth Falls, Middleham, Bolton Castle, Hawes and Richmond. The area is rife with cosy tearooms and delightful pubs and restaurants. With this in mind, we are offering a special price for those who do not wish to ride.
We look forward to seeing you soon at Eastfield Lodge.

Guest Lounge – this offers you somewhere other than your bedroom, where you can relax and kill time, perhaps with a drink and a newspaper. Help yourselves to books or perhaps a game of Scrabble, Cards or Chess – or indeed other games. There is a small casual bar in the corner, where you can help yourselves to complimentary tea or coffee.. and in case you want something stronger, we also keep wine glasses, corkscrews, an ice bucket, lemons and a fridge, in which you are welcome to chill your own bottles of wine, tonic or beer.
It is not unusual for guests to enjoy a few peaceful moments in here over a relaxing drink before wandering into the village for dinner. Also, Vic often bakes a delicious cake, which he leaves in the guest lounge for you to enjoy with a cup of tea when you get back from a day out. Simply make yourselves comfortable in an armchair and help yourselves.
