Eastfield Lodge is a warm and welcoming Victorian guest house in the Yorkshire Dales with 9 delightful en suite bedrooms, a sunny breakfast room and a comfortable guest living room, where each day there awaits our guests complimentary afternoon tea and cake – and, in winter, a roaring woodburning stove. The house has ample parking and a Coach House, which adds to its character and charm.

Eastfield Lodge is just 300m from the attractive and traditional market square of Leyburn, one of North Yorkshire's prettiest small towns and gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, a paradise for walkers of all levels of fitness. We are a stone’s throw away from many interesting independent shops, several charming teashops and cafes, as well as traditional pubs and some superb restaurants. We are also 2 minutes walk from the Wensleydale Railway.

Eastfield Lodge was acquired in 2006 by Collett’s Mountain Holidays. We wanted people who had stayed with us in the Dolomites and Pyrenees to enjoy Collett’s hospitality in a part of the UK. There are beautiful walks for people of all levels of fitness and you can venture out on them independently at your leisure or perhaps you might want to join one of our monthly walking breaks in the Yorkshire Dales, which include three magnificent group day walks as part of a four night ‘halfboard’ package. If you prefer to walk independently, we have maps, reference books, ideas and useful information so that you can self guide successfully and enjoy itineraries that are suitable.

But it’s not all about walking. We welcome people to Eastfield Lodge whatever it is that brings them here, whether it is the numerous nearby places of historical and cultural, the extensive range of interesting events or just the quaint stone-clad villages and exquisite countryside that characterises one of England’s most precious gems, the Yorkshire Dales.

  Eastfield Lodge is a characterful Victorian house with 9 spacious and comfortable en suite bedrooms. We want to offer you hospitality that is warm, freindly and unassuming. Expect a friendly welcome, a relaxed atmosphere and a hearty breakfast cooked by Dave. For large groups - and when arranged well in advance - Dave and Pol are happy to provide a homecooked two-course supper.

  Eastfield Lodge is a stone's throw from the charming market square in Leyburn, one of North Yorkshire's prettiest small towns and the principal town of Wensleydale.
• Relax and do your own thing
  Once here, relax in your room in front of the TV or enjoy the 'home from home' atmosphere downstairs in the living room, where there are games, books, maps, local information, complimentary tea/coffee and an informal bar. A wood burning stove in the lounge adds to the cosy atmosphere. For walkers, you will be pleaserd to know, Dave and Pauline have a passion for the outdoors and will be pleased to give you good advice on a host of magnificent walks whatever your ambition or level of fitness.
